What should I expect when I visit the church?

Our Sunday Service is a very important part of our church life. We worship God together as a family, seeking to be filled and led by the Holy Spirit, desiring to hear God’s Word and offer our lives up onto our God. Our worship is lively and the Word we receive is refreshing. There are opportunities to receive prayer when we gather together, and we share communion, the first Sunday of every month. Meetings end with tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits and plenty of time to chat and build friendships. Some services begin with breakfast or end with lunch on special days.

Our congregation always gets actively involved in the worship, which last from about 45mins – 1 hour. We encourage people to come to the front and worship! This is followed by a time of offering and the Word. Offerings are made into offering envelopes which are available with the ushers and handed out during service. The congregation walks forward to make the offering at the baskets provided in the front. When we have breaking of bread, those who wish to partake will be invited to come forward to receive the communion elements, which we will share together when the minister instructs us to do so.

Our congregation is a mixed age group, so all are welcome.

At present we do not have disabled access to the main hall, which is upstairs, but we can make provision to watch the service from downstairs, should the need arise.

Can I bring my kids to church?

Yes! Of course! At Capstone, we desire to see children grow up into a generation on fire for God.

On Sundays during the 10am service, the children participate in worship with their families and then attend Kid’s Church during the time of the sermon, where they will get involved in activities and games. They will then be taught from a Bible based curriculum. Please register with the Capstone Kid’s Team.

Throughout the week the children are welcome to get involved in the various bible studies and church activities.

Let the Kids grow in God’s House. Let them learn His ways. They will return to it all their days.

Is there a dress code?

We encourage people to come as they are, so come dressed in your 'normal' clothes. We are usually in semi-formals or jeans. Although, we have been known to go all out and dress to the hilts. Freedom reigns in this place. (And common courtesy!)

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?
